Job Title : Credit Transaction Management Transversal Administrator
Location : Montreal,QC

Job Description :
  • Conduct detailed individual reviews of approximately 650 credit protection files to confirm the presence and enforceability of Legal Opinions.
  • Collaborate with business partners, external counsel, and internal stakeholders to obtain required Legal Opinions for all applicable transactions.
  • Input and validate Legal Opinions in risk systems, ensuring all received or missing documentation is properly recorded.
  • Document findings and identify remediation actions for any non-compliant files.

2. Legal Documentation Management

  • Verify receipt of required legal documents and upload them to the local repository.
  • Maintain tracking logs and ensure proper document organization.
  • Input and validate data related to:
    • Covenants
    • Guarantees
    • Insurance
    • Collateral
  • Perform conformity checks on flagged client documentation.
  • Respond to legal document requests, subpoenas, and file inquiries.
  • Review legal paperwork for potential Client (BIC) pledges and note covenant defaults.

3. Risk & Credit Operations

  • Enter and maintain data for:
    • Annual reviews
    • Internal ratings
    • Capital market lines
    • Securitization programs
  • Authorize:
    • Loan drawdowns
    • Letters of credit
    • Perfection-service invoices
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly exception and data-quality reports and resolve system issues impacting risk data.
  • Prepare and distribute internal exposure and control reports, including:
    • Past-due reviews
    • Watchlists
    • Provisions

4. Process & Quality Controls

  • Perform periodic controls and escalations for new, amended, or renewed facilities.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly attestations in ORUS and daily monitoring in Hobart.
  • Maintain and enhance operational procedures and identify process improvement opportunities.

5. Team & Project Support

  • Participate in cross-training and mentor new hires.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and other project initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 2 3 years of relevant experience in:
  • Corporate banking documentation, OR
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and practices
  • Understanding of loan structures, credit agreements, and transaction terms.
  • Experience in a Middle Office and/or Operations environment
