Application Support Analyst – Production

Location: Montreal, QC
Duration: 06+ Months
Pay Rate: T4: C$ 45 | INC: C$ 55

The team is part of a global support group tasked with managing trade booking production for rates and credit bureaus. Serving over 1,000 users, the support team maintains constant communication with developers, traders, intermediary teams, and local office support teams.

Compétences et qualifications requises

• Experience in support and operational maintenance of “tier-zero” application systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, especially when dealing directly with traders and senior management.
• Experience in release and version control of platform and desktop components.
• Knowledge in obsolescence tracking for operating systems, hardware, and applications.
• Prior work experience in a relevant industry.

Compétences et qualifications préférées

• Experience working closely with development and infrastructure teams.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Dynatrace, OpenSearch, and Grafana.
• Participation in project activities.

Responsabilités au quotidien

• Tier-zero production support for critical Front Office applications.
• Ensuring that trade workflows remain "green" (fully functional).
• Direct support to traders and the Front Office (primarily via email).
• Management and tracking of production incidents.
• Strict adherence to change control processes.
• Problem analysis and resolution under tight time constraints.
• Production "Gatekeeper" role: Ensuring end-to-end Availability, Performance, and Stability.
• Participation in project activities (releases, platform enhancements).
• Obsolescence monitoring: OS, Hardware, Applications.
• Bilingual or Native English Speaker.
