Working under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Associate Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful strategies that reinforce Barry Callebaut’s leadership in the industrial chocolate ingredients space. The individual will support marketing initiatives with a strong focus on campaign activations, trade shows and events, and sponsorships. The role also includes analyzing brand and product range performance, executing key marketing projects and programs, and maintaining competitive intelligence to support the company’s continued growth.
Responsabilités clés
Gestion de campagnes et activations marketing
- Assist and/or oversee the creation of marketing materials and content specific to target segments (e.g., brochures, presentations, email campaigns, social media, etc.).
- Assist and/or ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
- Assist and/or measure and report on the performance of campaigns, events, and activations, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
- Contribute to the communication strategy and develop content for our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram).
- Collaborate in keeping our websites updated and create content for the new campaigns
Collaboration et gestion des parties prenantes
- Work with the Canadian Sales teams to drive engagement and ensure that the marketing activities are in line with sales goals.
- Work closely with Sales, Academy Chefs, Product management, and R&D teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and nuture the relation with our Brand Ambassadors (communicate business updates, execute contract agreements, etc.)
- Provide ongoing marketing support to clients, ensuring they can effectively leverage our products in their initiatives.
Gestion d’événements
- Assist and/or lead the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of industry trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events.
- Assist and/or coordinate logistics, budget, creative assets, and communication for events to ensure impactful brand presence.
- Assist and/or drive digital and in-person activations to generate leads, increase brand visibility, and strengthen customer relationships.
- Assist and/or work with external vendors and partners to execute event strategies effectively.
Gestion du budget et des ressources
- Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources for events, campaigns, and activations.
- Track expenses and provide regular updates to ensure cost-effective management.
À propos de vous
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years professional Brand / Marketing mgt. (Food CPG, B2B), trade/distribution mkt. (required).
- Bi-lingual – French and English (required) to interact with colleagues and customers outside Québec.
- Commercial background in chocolate / confectionery (preferred).
- B2B marketing/sales experience a plus (distribution and/or end-user preferred).
- Experience with marketing to national and/or regional food manufacturers is a plus.
- Knowledge of the food ingredients or industrial chocolate industry is a plus.
- Understanding CRM, database mkt. & social media channels.
- Goal-oriented, organized team player.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong experience in planning, executing, and measuring events, trade shows, and marketing activations.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Track record of successful Brand, channel and/or segment activation & amplification (i.e. programs & campaigns to drive awareness, usage, and trade-up to value-added solutions).
- Successful end-to-end project leadership.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms.
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics from SalesForce dashboard and convert that data into actions.
- Knowledge of the following tools is a plus: Microsoft Suite, Canva, Adobe Acrobate, Photoshop and InDesign.
