We are seeking a Software Development Intern tojoin our Client and Partner Integration team to support the enhancement of our Transportation API, handling incoming client requests. This is an excitingopportunity to contribute directly to Intelcom | Dragonfly's growth within a dynamic agile squad working on software infrastructure to maintain and enhance our services.
Responsibilities
Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance ofour APIusing Python and AWS.
Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, andoptimizingthe system.
Supportthedeployment ofsoftware updates andthe maintenance ofsystem performance.
Theroleinvolvesdaily(orregular) communicationwithpan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in Python.
Knowledgeofadditionalprogramminglanguages,includingC# and Java,isan asset.
Experience with AWS or Azure is a plus.
Strongunderstandingof data structures.
Experience designing and implementingdatabases.
Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving.
Strong collaboration and communicationskills.
