Nanny Wanted - Full Time Nanny Needed – Old Montreal (5 Year Old Boy, Temporary Position)

We are seeking a dependable, patient, and attentive nanny to care for our 5-year-old son, starting May 1 through August 7, in Old Montreal.

Our son is energetic, curious, and affectionate. He can experience challenges with impulse control and emotional regulation. We are looking for someone calm, consistent, and experienced in supporting children who benefit from structure and clear boundaries.

Horaire

• Monday to Friday
• 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Durée du contrat

• May 1 to August 7 (temporary position)
• Compensation : 25 / hour

Responsabilités

• Provide full-time care and active supervision
• Engage in play and structured activities
• Daily outdoor time (target of ~2 hours, weather permitting)
• Prepare and serve meals / snacks (reheating meals, cutting fruits / vegetables, simple prep only)
• Support emotional regulation using calm, consistent approaches
• Maintain a safe, positive environment

Exigences

• Experience with young children (age 4–6)
• Experience with behavioral challenges strongly preferred
• Patient, calm under pressure, and consistent
• Able to set clear, respectful boundaries
• Reliable and attentive (safety-focused)
• References required
• English or French (bilingual is an asset)

Lieu

• Old Montreal (walkable, parks nearby)
