Do you think you have the ability and drive to keep up with this exciting, ever-changing industry? Whether it be in front of the camera, on air, online or behind the scenes, you would be joining a team that thrives on making connections and telling stories that are important to Canadians.

Your Role

Reporting to the Manager, Community Experiences, and collaborating with Communications Officers, you are responsible for developing, coordinating and executing brand activations and events. Your goal is to position the Radio-Canada brand, maximize its reach and strengthen its community presence while deepening the connection between Canadians and their public broadcaster.

Tâches clés

  • Develop, plan and deliver original brand activations and experiential events across Greater Montreal and at Maison de Radio-Canada to drive interest and engagement among audiences for the public broadcaster and its properties and products.

  • Collaborate with Communications Officers to design brand activations aligned with marketing objectives and provide active support during the development and rollout of activations or major events.

  • Implement and coordinate marketing communications plans to ensure maximum visibility for all initiatives; draft the related strategic and creative briefs in conjunction with the Marketing & Communications teams involved.

  • Execute and support relationship marketing initiatives designed to boost brand engagement and awareness among the general public.

  • Work alongside Communications Officers to provide strategic recommendations to programming teams.

  • Lead and coach brand ambassadors during on-site events or activities put on by the team.

  • Assist in evaluating the performance of implemented experiences to identify opportunities for future improvement.

  • Help deliver the brand experience in the Maison de Radio-Canada (MRC) atrium by ensuring that technical assets such as the audio guide, giant atrium screens, hallway monitors, projectors and marquee are fully operational and well coordinated.

  • Manage event logistics and venue co-ordination for spaces at Maison de Radio-Canada (atrium, Studio C, Studio R and Place de Radio-Canada).

  • Manage and respond to inquiries directed to the Gestion Experiences email account.

  • Oversee the inventory of activation materials required for department operations, co-ordinate activations with regional teams and maintain an up-to-date equipment catalogue.

  • Manage and update the Greater Montreal section of the Radio-Canada Experiences website.

  • Provide operational support for events, partnerships and cultural outreach initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a comparable combination of different education and experience may be considered.

  • Three years’ experience in a similar role.

Compétences

  • Excellent knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada, its mandate and its programming.

  • Proven planning, organization and detail-orientation skills.

  • High degree of creativity in working with content, developing traditional and electronic communications tools as well as creating promotional events and activities.

  • Proven brand activation experience.

  • Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Adestra, Jira, Canva, Gemini and any other relevant software.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Budgeting and scheduling skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and handle stress.

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours or extended shifts as required by the event schedule.

  • A creative, collaborative, solutions-oriented team player who can work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
