Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with the clients and the engineering team to understand product requirements and specifications.

Design and develop hardware solutions that meet the performance, cost, and reliability targets.

Create schematic designs, board layouts, and oversee PCB fabrication and assembly.

Conduct thorough analysis, testing, and validation of hardware designs to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

Conduct design reviews, provide feedback, and implement improvements based on the team's recommendations.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in hardware design techniques, tools, and technologies.

Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source components and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Support the manufacturing team during the production process, addressing any hardware-related issues that arise.

Document design specifications, test procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (3-5 years) in hardware design, preferably in a product development environment.

Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCAD).

Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.

Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Familiarity with signal integrity analysis and simulation tools.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to hardware design (e.g., EMC / EMI compliance, safety standards).

Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
