What will your typical day look like?

The chosen candidate will translate, from English-into-French, a diverse range of documents of an accounting, financial or technical nature, e.

g., training material on accounting standards, user interfaces and guides for new accounting tools, presentations to boards of directors on new financial reporting developments, press releases, financial analyses and economic bulletins, presentations on tax issues as well as articles for Deloitte’s intranet and website.

With almost 80 professionals, Deloitte's Linguistic Services group is one of the largest in-house translation departments in Montreal.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

• Bachelor's degree in Translation or university diploma in a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in translation in a structured organization (different job levels are offered)
• Ability to meet deadlines, work on different projects simultaneously, and set priorities
• Excellent knowledge of computer and translation tools; proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Interest in technological tools
• Ability to adapt to a changing technological environment
• Diligent and thorough in terms of terminology
• Taste for teamwork
• Membership in the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ), an asset

Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position
