Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Production Chefs, we’d ask you to do the following for us :

  • Coordinate and prepare a large volume of meals daily following several different menus and concepts
  • Ensure appropriate portions and presentation
  • Plan production, delegate tasks and manage kitchen staff
  • Control and recycle surplus production
  • Assist with assessment of food requirements according to the menu and inventory, ordering the necessary commodities according to operational standards
  • Complete production sheets and / or register
  • Control the quality of commodities as soon as they arrive and rotate the stock
  • Place orders
  • Adhere to the budget
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and safety standards

Here’s how we’ll know you are the best fit :

  • Degree or diploma in culinary management
  • 3 years of foodservice or related management experience in high volume, food production environment
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of hygiene and occupational health and safety standards
  • Customer service oriented and strong communication skills
