Our Client, a highly reputable marketing agency in Montreal is looking for a Social Media Practice Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Reporting to the Director, Digital Media, the person we are looking for will be responsible for advancing the use of social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn).

We are looking for someone with an advanced mastery of the various social platforms and to share their practice, knowledge and vision of social media within the team of platform specialists.

This mastery is primarily related to the "paid" side of social media advertising, but does not exclude the "organic" side.

Responsibilities :

  • Help position the company as an industry leader in the use of social media advertising platforms.
  • Train and challenge the team of platform specialists on best practices on social platforms (Facebook Business Manager, Tik Tok, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
  • Ensure continuous contact with partners to bring to the team the latest trends and industry best practices in social media.
  • Ensure continuous analysis of various performance indicators via social platforms, Google Analytics and Data Studio.
  • Monitor current campaigns and produce ongoing recommendations to ensure optimal campaign performance.
  • Participate, in collaboration with the planning team, in developing and improving digital strategies and planning : recommend placements, formats, platforms and audiences that will meet the objectives of the client brief.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a media agency, digital agency or corporate environment with a focus on social media
  • University degree in a relevant discipline and / or equivalent experience
  • Experience in e-commerce campaigns an important asset
  • Facebook Blueprint certifications an important asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Data Studio is also an asset
  • Very good command of French and English, both oral and written
  • A great rigor and professionalism
  • A leadership and a communicative passion
  • A curious and analytical mind, focused on results and strategic thinking
  • A desire to stay abreast of the latest innovations in marketing and digital media
  • Organizational skills, prioritization and rigorous follow-up of ongoing campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple files at once with tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrate strong team spirit and collaboration with all team members
  • Demonstrate good judgment and a desire to get the job done right
  • Excellent knowledge of the digital advertising industry
  • Good knowledge of the office suite (mainly Excel)
