About the role

Information Management Analyst / Digital Librarian

We are looking for an Information Management Analyst / Digital Librarian to join our growing team!

The person in this role will be responsible for the design, organization, and management of the unique knowledge base of all our Claims documentation in Canada.

The role also involves ensuring that the documentation available remains reliable and relevant.

Here are some of the ways you will make a difference :

Design, organize, and manage a national integrated digital library system.

Designs, implements, and follows digital collection policies to guide accessions and deaccessions of articles.

Collaborates with other teams to advance the position of the library as a vital resource for employees.

Collaborates to developprograms to increase engagement with employees including a review of existing library contents.

Maintains the institutional archives and enhances organization knowledge management.

Responds to user feedback and available user reports to support the continuous organization and accessibility of content.

Ensures the library maintains up to date technologies, practices, and procedures.

Tracks and manages library statistics and prepares monthly and annual reports on the use of the library.

Trains and mentor to new members of this team.

Your qualifications

Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with acceptable specialization in library science or information resource management.

Minimum of 2 years digital library experience.

A sound knowledge of current and emerging practices and trends in the use and integration of technology to deliver information resources and services.

Collections development and cataloging and / or archival processing experience.

Strong knowledge of digital library principles.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of web applications and self-service solutions and approaches.

Strong collaborator and communicator with an excellent command of English (oral and written).

French / English Bilingual (oral and written) an asset.

Knowledge of insurance would be an asset.

Thoroughness and attention to detail is critical.

Excellent time management and change management skills.

Familiarity with Salesforce platforms an asset.
