Position Description :

The functional analyst will be the resource person for the developers and will answer functional questions. In this position, you will be responsible for performing functional tests according to specifications and acceptance criteria.

You will also have to create functional specifications to establish a clear and common description of the required functional behaviour.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Discuss the requirements with the client : illustrate the functional behaviour and the application’s navigation flows;
• Discuss non-functional requirements and constraints with the client : get a clear understanding of the functionalities implicitly included in the design and question them;
• Ensure functional acceptance criteria are clear;
• Perform functional tests according to specifications and acceptance criteria;
• Receive reported bugs;
• Provide useful functional documentation in a format that provides value to our client;
• Prepare training sessions;

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

• Proficiency in French and English;
• knowledge of business intelligence concepts;
• Data integration and governance;
• Data quality and access management;
• Dashboards : types, associated performance indicators;
• Expert knowledge of techniques for determining needs;
• Principles of UI design, assessment, and visualization;
• Client-centric, fast execution, autonomy, proactivity, efficiency, and sense of personal responsibility;
• Excellent organizational and learning skills and ability to adjust priorities to meet tight deadlines;
• Thoroughness and great attention to detail;
• Self-confidence and ability to interact with executives at all levels.
