NV-09The Desjardins Cross-Sector Data and Analytics Administrative Department promotes the organization's shift to becoming data-centric and aligning with industry best practices.

The Data Extraction and Masking Centre Division offers irreversible transformation (anonymization) and data generation services for all of Desjardins Group in accordance with information security and privacy requirements.

The Department also offers a fictitious data integrity library that serves the various business sectors.

The technologies supported include most of the data used at Desjardins Group and most of the database and flat file systems used for data management and analytics purposes.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities

Actively help develop execution strategies and analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices

Document technical solutions as well as practices to ensure product sustainability. Develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and users

Provide technical support for IT operations. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve critical and complex system issues

Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly

Lead software package installations and testing as well as application deployment

Other working conditions

Work location : Montreal or Lévis, depending on the candidate's preference. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of four years of relevant experience

Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge

Proficient using automated deployment (pipeline) tools : Concourse, Jenkins

Proficient using code version management tools : GitHub

Knowledge of different database management systems (Db2, Oracle, SQL)

Knowledge of bash, Java, PowerShell and Python programming

Knowledge of CA TDM software or other data anonymization tool (an asset)
