Tasks
- Ensure project feasibility within the required time frame.
- Perform preliminary network design using information and software.
- Ensure construction permits are obtained.
- Follow up and give applicable notices in case of time or cost overruns.
- Visit the site to assess the existing network, requirements and problems.
- Ensure compliance with work standards.
- Identify the best path to take while keeping in mind the customer’s needs, the existing ones and the networks ability.
- Prepare maps for the survey, occasional trips.
- Verify the accuracy of plans and information.
- Perform other related duties.

Job requirements
- 2 years of relevant experience in a telecom network engineering position (survey, permit applications, drawings, etc.) or in a similar position.
- DEP in building or telecommunication technology (asset).
- Proven management skills in project execution (an asset).
- Knowledge of the common standard for the design, installation and verification of aerial structures.
- Ability to read and analyze a UDS grid.
- Possess a class 5 driver's license.
- Knowledge of the Office suite.
- Functional in English and French (spoken and written).
