NV-09The "Oracle Financials" Solutions Centre of Expertise is looking for an Oracle - Programmer Analyst who can display leadership with both Oracle and internal partners.

The Solutions Centre of Expertise is a multidisciplinary team of business analysts, functional analysts and developers. It's responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing the "Oracle Financials" cloud software package including EBS, Hyperion, OBIEE, OFSAA.

You contribute to IT efficiency. You analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain and upgrade software products to meet the needs of finance, risk management and treasury business partners.

You're responsible for the quality of coded solutions.

You draw on your ability to work with technology and anticipate innovation to help develop, standardize and roll out medium- to large-scale IT systems, programs and applications.

You analyze client and partner needs and influence decisions on appropriate IT solutions. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet objectives.

Your projects and initiatives require comprehensive knowledge of your line of work.

You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and comprehensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical.

You interact with stakeholders working in other fields.

You serve as a systems resource person for your unit, clients and practitioners.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities

Actively help develop execution strategies and analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices

Document technical solutions as well as practices to ensure product sustainability. Develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and users

Provide technical support for IT operations. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve critical and complex system issues

Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly

Lead software package installations and testing as well as application deployment

Work location : Montreal or Lévis, depending on the candidate's preference The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Experience with Oracle OFSAA / FSDF

Experience in PL / SQL programming

Experience with Weblogic, AIX, Linux and Unix, ERWIN

Experience with ITIL processes

Experience working on maintenance projects and fostering good relationships with finance, risk management and treasury business partners

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Specific knowledge

Accounting knowledge (an asset)

Proficient speaker, advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with (language)-speaking partners, members and / or clients
