Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst for our office located in Lasalle .

Fuel Transport is focused on growth and finding people who share our vision and culture. Reporting to the Director, Infrastructure, you will be an important part of the Technology & Innovation team and will be integral in the support of our Infosec practice.

This position will collaborate with all levels of managers, employees, and key stakeholders as well as external 3rd party vendors to enforce and support Fuel’s technology security initiatives.

Job Summary :

  • Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture
  • Implement and support solutions to promote overall business and security strategies
  • Actively monitor various internal security platforms to detect and respond to security incidents
  • Engage with 3rd party security partners (MSSP)
  • Participate in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits
  • Manage user engagement and awareness activities around cyber security within the organization
  • Manage response activities in the event of a security incident and / or security breach
  • Assist in developing and implementing new security enhancements and plans
  • Develop and maintain documentation on security requirements and controls for protecting information, systems, and technology assets
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends

Education & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 3 years in IT security.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and / or equivalent experience.
  • CISSP or other relevant security related designations an asset.
  • Experience with Security technologies (SIEM, PAM, EDR, NGFW, IPS, CASB, etc.) and ability to participate in the development of architectures related to these technologies.
  • Experience with public cloud environments, network access, identity, and access management, security awareness programs, Spam filtering and email monitoring solutions.
  • Knowledge of end-point security platforms, computer networking concepts and protocols and network security methodology, Web filtering solutions, remote access technology concepts, application firewall concepts and functions, business continuity and disaster recovery operation plans.
  • Excellent team player
  • Bilingual, written and spoken, French and English. The requirement of another language is required for this position as the candidate will be required to interact and communicate with clients, suppliers and colleagues throughout North America.
