Correctional Service Canada is looking for a supervisor with excellent skills to supervise and direct planning and work related to building maintenance (preventive and corrective).
The supervisor will be responsible for managing the various installations to ensure the prison complex is self-sufficient at all times (e.
g. generator and security system, drinking and waste water, etc.). He / she will also be responsible for a team of approximately 10 to 15 employees from various trades, such as carpenter, painter, electromechanical engineer, plumber, etc.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
A secondary school diploma or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test or an acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience.
Recent* and significant experience in the field of infrastructure and / or building management .
Recent experience is defined as acquired experience within the last seven (7) years.
Significant experience means experience the breadth and depth of which is normally equivalent to the experience acquired by performing the duties over a period of three (3) years.
This includes working with multidisciplinary teams as well as making technical recommendations to management and / or customers.
Management means the process of directing, organising and controlling financial, material and human resources in order to achieve the objectives.

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in any field related to the duties of the position.
Successful completion of an apprenticeship and certification program in a field related to the duties of the position.
Experience working in the field of correctional infrastructure.
Experience in project management in building sector.
