We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Advisor to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team at our Montreal Refinery! A dynamic and resourceful team where you can take on new challenges.

In this role, you will perform the supply chain management operational activities including supporting planning, scheduling, coordination, and conducting procurement of materials and services for our sector.

In this entry-level position, you will understand and balance requests for materials or services, examine the needs of our professional functional business partners, and ensure fulfilment in accordance with the SCM operational model.

Minimum Requirements :

3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) with advancing skill in key areas of Procurement and Planning, Scheduling and Coordinating

Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of computerized Material Management (MM) systems and MS office

Aptitude for procurement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools

Knowledge of master data, supply operations process, contract administration

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Ability to apply procurement concepts to execute complex processes in daily work

Effective communication skills and the ability to work with partners and suppliers

Ability to analyze data, review requirements and negotiate effective solutions

Aptitude for teamwork, flexibility, and autonomy

Responsibilities :

Address procurement process related issues and escalate to more senior team members when required

Maintain and manage lifecycle of purchase orders and procurement documentation

Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with the purchasing strategy and procurement plan

Meet the demands of multiple clients including external stakeholders

Work with approved suppliers to address requirements

Learn and understand key business drivers of the refinery

Location and other Key Details :

You will work out of our Montreal office, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs (e.g. turnarounds)
