NV-10We're currently looking for a DataStage Developer to work in our department to develop and maintain fraud management solutions for Desjardins Group.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a team that's excited to find new ways to fight fraud.
General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities
Analyze and design optimal solutions to meet business needs
Understand the system components and how they interact, and the technological aspects of the sector's application inventory
Help analyze the needs of business leaders, and assist colleagues in selecting solutions, applications and systems. Carry out development and upgrade activities for complex systems
Conduct activity estimates and sequencing exercises for highly complex projects
Act as a technology subject matter expert
Develop and recommend practices and development methods in your field
Research, recommend and apply best practices for application and software development and configuration. Determine and approve the implementation delivery strategy.
Oversee development and implementation quality
Carry out quality control and testing. Ensure solutions perform as expected. Possess an in-depth understanding of the operational aspects of applications and systems
Develop ETL solutions and conduct the appropriate tests, while ensuring compliance with best practices and architecture targets
Provide technical support for operations and follow up on issues with project leaders
Draft operating guides, as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Data integration (ETL) experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Knowledge of data warehouses
Knowledge of Control-M (an asset)
