Job Description

The Wealth Management Business Architect with expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is responsible for supporting the digital transformation of financial organizations by leveraging Salesforce FSC as a strategic driver of business value creation.

They act as a functional and strategic reference across financial domains (banking, insurance, wealth management, retirement), ensuring alignment between business processes, regulatory requirements, and Salesforce platform capabilities in complex, large-scale environments.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Business Transformation and Financial Expertise

  • Deep understanding of financial services processes:
    • Wealth management
    • Financial planning
    • Banking services
  • Analyze business and regulatory challenges (KYC, AML, fraud, risk).
  • Translate these challenges into transformation capabilities and opportunities using Salesforce FSC.
  • Advise organizations on evolving toward customer-centric operating models.


Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Expertise

  • Design and optimize solutions based on:
    • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
  • Leverage FSC for:
    • 360° customer view
    • Financial relationship management
    • Client onboarding
    • Personalized customer service
  • Ensure consistency of Salesforce solutions within complex, integrated IT environments.
  • Translate business needs into Salesforce requirements.
  • Align business processes (relationship management, compliance) with FSC capabilities.


Business Process Management & Optimization (BPM)

  • Map current (as-is) and target (to-be) processes.
  • Lead initiatives in:
    • Business process reengineering (BPR, BPO)
    • Continuous improvement (Six Sigma – Green Belt)
  • Automate processes using:
    • Salesforce
    • BPM/BPA solutions (e.g., Pega, workflows)
  • Facilitate definition of KPIs with project sponsors.


Governance, Strategy, and Transformation

  • Develop CRM strategic roadmaps (2 to 5 years).
  • Ensure alignment between:
    • Business strategy
    • Salesforce CRM capabilities
    • IT architecture
  • Participate in Salesforce governance (standards, prioritization, key decisions).
  • Support organizational change management related to CRM transformations.


Project Delivery and Collaboration

  • Contribute to the delivery of complex Salesforce projects in Agile or iterative mode.
  • Lead business workshops during project phases:
    • Discovery
    • Strategy & Assess
  • Coordinate the design of Salesforce FSC roadmaps and collaborate with:
    • Sponsors
    • Business Analysts
    • Business Architects
    • Salesforce Architects
    • Project Managers
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in demanding environments.

Skills

Salesforce & CRM Skills

  • Experience with large-scale, complex Salesforce implementations in institutional environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Financial Services Cloud
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
  • Experience integrating Salesforce into complex business environments.


Business & Financial Skills

  • Financial services expertise (banking, insurance, wealth, financial planning).
  • Compliance, risk, KYC, AML.
  • Contact centers and customer service.
  • Customer-centric operating models.


Analytical & Strategic Skills

  • Clear, structured communication tailored to executive audiences.
  • Ability to document and present architectural recommendations.
  • Political awareness and understanding of decision-making processes.
  • Ability to work with executives (Director, VP, SVP levels).

  • Management and coordination of complex projects.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
