About the role
As a Graphic Designer (14-month temporary position), you will be responsible for designing printed and digital promotional materials, and creating videos (animated, corporate and event).
You will manage multiple projects and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Location: Montreal (boulevard Robert-Bourassa), Saint-Hyacinthe (rue Girouard Ouest), Toronto (University Avenue) or Calgary (6th Avenue SW).
What you’ll do here:
- Use design principles and creative thinking to establish design direction.
- Participate in consultations on communication mediums, purpose and target audience to guide the design process.
- Create and prepare production materials, meeting specifications and production schedules.
- Promote company events through videos, photos, and digital and print documents per organizational needs.
- Act as a brand standards consultant.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design or multimedia design.
- Three to five years of professional experience in graphic design and content creation.
- Extensive experience with Adobe Suite and in-depth knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Proficiency in communicating ideas and justifying creative choices.
- Good knowledge of storyboarding, visual design principles and animation.
- Knowledge of photography (events, portraits and retouching), an asset.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS, an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities and consultation skills.
- Robust portfolio demonstrating consumer-focused creative thinking.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Outstanding collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and assessing issues and trends.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and function effectively in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
- Bilingualism in French and English required - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required; however, must be eligible to work in Canada.
