Mission
The IT Supplier and Asset Management administrative department's mission is to enable Desjardins Technology Group to reap the full value of its network of IT suppliers and partners.
It does so by aligning operations with the IT strategy and developing IT supplier and asset management practices in an effort to standardize our approach to tools, processes, data, and roles, improve the integrity of our operations, and optimize performance and costs.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Advisor focusing on strategy for IT Supplier and Asset Management, you take a leadership role in influencing various stakeholders. You need to be able to work well under pressure in a constantly changing environment. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Manage strategic initiatives connected to our activities and ensure stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Implement the strategic plan while managing change and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for decision-making bodies.
- Provide end-to-end leadership for strategic initiatives and special mandates by reporting on your areas of expertise and achieving results.
- Draft strategic and executive documents and make presentations to committees and decision-making bodies.
- Improve operational integrity while optimizing performance and costs.
- Ensure efforts to optimize processes and costs are fully implemented and understood across all our operations.
- Advise partners on strategic operations and help them with positioning, planning, development, execution, and monitoring.
- Align with various teams, including Asset Management, Supplier Management, and Practices.
- Serve as an expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies.

What you bring to the table :
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in IT supplier management, strategic procurement, IT asset management, or another related field.
- Experience working on complex files with multiple contributors.
- Experience in executive communications.
- Experience with the ITVM process and best practices and knowledge of the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
- ITIL 4 certification.
- IT Asset Management certification.
- Knowledge of French required.
