Job Description
We are now on the lookout for a motivated team member to define strategy, plan, and implement the company's overall marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the intake, planning and execution of a range of digital marketing initiatives with internal teams and agency partners, including but not limited to, social media, content production, campaigns, website updates, and email marketing.
- Assist in administrative and budget tracking of projects and approvals as required.
- Analyze and report on market trends and campaign performance, metrics and insights.
- Manage project schedules for digital paid media and content programs.
- Develop engaging text, image and video content for our communities (social posts, release notes, newsletters, surveys, etc).
- Collaborate with graphic designers in the creation of visual content (e.g. images, videos, press kits and business proposals).
- Develop and maintain a social content calendar, highlighting important dates, milestones and trends that are in line with marketing and production strategies on a daily basis.
- Coordinate submissions and logistics to attend festivals and conferences.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Only candidates with video game experience will be considered for this post.
- 3+ years experience in video game marketing with a marketing, communications, or business degree (or equivalent work experience).
- Exemplary leadership skills, fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation, and open communication.
- A proven track record in overseeing and executing successful marketing campaigns (as a Marketing Director or Community Manager) for video games.
- Ability to be highly organized, flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- A deep passion and understanding of video games, virtual reality gaming, and general gaming culture.
- Solid knowledge of the gaming community in various channels such as Steam, Discord, Reddit, TikTok, etc.
