Our expectations

Reporting to the Planning & Optimization Supervisor, the Production Performance Coordinator is responsible for implementing and coordinating the quality audit program for various processes within the distribution centers of the region.

This role involves close collaboration with the distribution operations teams, inventory planning, and production teams, as well as the training team, to identify, monitor, and implement corrective measures for quality issues in production activities.

By joining our team, the Production Performance Coordinator will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes and ensure customer satisfaction through quality service.

The scope includes distribution centers and the expanding network of direct delivery centers in the region. This role will support the operations of distribution centers as a center of excellence for operational quality control.

Your role

  • Coordination of the Quality Audit Program:
    • Develop and implement the audit program for prepared orders and various production functions (receiving, putaway, replenishment of rentals, and order preparation).
    • Conduct regular audits and document the results.
    • Monitor audit data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Operational Teams:
    • Work closely with distribution operations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Participate in operational meetings to share audit results and propose corrective actions.
  • Interaction with the Inventory Planning Team:
    • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure optimal inventory management while considering quality issues.
    • Propose process improvements based on audit feedback.
  • Training and Awareness:
    • Collaborate with the distribution training team to develop and deliver training sessions on quality standards to operational teams (unionized and non-unionized employees).
    • Raise staff awareness of quality issues and best practices to adopt.
  • Follow-up on Corrective Actions:
    • Establish action plans to address non-conformities identified during audits.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented corrective measures and adjust procedures as necessary.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare regular reports on the status of quality for prepared orders.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of processes, audits, and corrective actions.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Degree in Quality Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a distribution environment.
  • Knowledge of basic quality principles and standards as well as auditing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and propose solutions.
  • Proficiency in computer tools and management software.
  • Lean Yellow Belt and Six Sigma approach (strong asset).
  • Rigor and organizational skills.
  • Proactivity and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
