Description
The Continuing Education Department of Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an HOURLY INSTRUCTOR to teach the course WINDOWS SERVER II (420-762-LA).
This course looks at the typical configuration of various services on a Microsoft Windows Server, including: Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
This course will also cover group policies, as well as patch management of servers and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Must have thorough knowledge of the configuration of various services on a Microsoft Windows Server, including: Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Should have a good understanding of cloud computing concepts, such as virtualization, scalability, elasticity, and cloud deployment models (public, private, hybrid).
- Familiarity with popular cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is an asset.
- Having relevant Microsoft server administration certifications is also an asset.
Experience
Experience teaching an adult clientele is an asset.
Proficiency in English is required.

This course will be delivered in a hybrid mode: Some classes will be delivered in a face-to-face format (synchronous) onsite from the College, while other classes will be taught online.
The specific in-person dates will be determined by the pedagogical advisor in collaboration with the hired instructor. Experience with online course delivery platforms such as Zoom, Moodle, LEA, and Microsoft Teams is required.

The schedule and course dates may change based on the needs of the program and are subject to enrollment.
This course is taught in English. The selected incumbent will be required to work in English.
