Job Description
Identify and partner with reliable vendors, with a focus on China, to meet product quality, pricing, and sourcing needs for bedroom textiles.
Build strong supplier relationships and stay up-to-date on sourcing trends relevant to retail.
Track global trends in textiles and sustainable materials, using this information to explore new sourcing opportunities and product ideas.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on materials, timelines, and specifications.
Coordinate with logistics to optimize lead times and manage delivery schedules.
Work with marketing and product teams to facilitate the launch of new products, coordinating efforts to ensure streamlined go-to-market plans.
Proactively manage supply chain risks, identifying backup suppliers to ensure a continuous flow of materials and minimize disruptions.
Prepare client-facing presentations and pricing strategies for key accounts. Support the sales team in planning and follow-up, serving as the product expert during meetings when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Business, or any other related field)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Experience in consumer goods, especially in sourcing and product management.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and analyze market trends for product development.
