What We Need

We are looking for a Senior Producer to join the 2K Core Games: Product team. As a Senior Producer, you will support our hard-working studio partners in developing quality games, from concept through post-launch updates, and assist in maintaining the creative vision of 2K’s game franchises.

A Sr. Producer is a player-obsessed leader and team-builder, capable of taking charge of a product, feature, or external team and unifying cross-functional teams and partners towards a specific set of goals.

This role requires day-to-day leadership in support of a single AAA title, and/or the simultaneous management of work streams across multiple titles.

Senior Producers are ultimately responsible for ensuring our titles ship in a timely manner and to a high degree of quality.

Additionally, the Sr. Producer is expected to contribute to the growth of the larger Publishing Production group, whether through improving group-wide processes or spearheading initiatives around training or sharing their institutional knowledge.

What You Will Do

  • Establish, maintain, and improve mutual collaboration with internal and external studios and teams to meet project schedules, quality goals, and business objectives throughout the entire development life cycle.
  • Collaborate with studio partners to ensure development priorities satisfy player expectations and quality goals, and that production schedules, project risks, and cross-functional publishing roadmaps are aligned and maintained between studio and 2K.
  • Proactively drive creative solutions to address studio pain points and unblock development by bringing to bear the scale of 2K's shared services and network of vendors, cutting through red tape and finding opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes.
  • Ensure titles are set up for success regarding the full life of the franchise - including post-launch strategies and in-market success KPIs.
  • Validate product and feature budgets and maintain forecasts of the budget, anticipating, identifying, and resolving overruns with studios, outsourcing partners, and other 2K publishing departments.
  • Spearhead alignment and adherence to product quality targets, schedules, and budgets through clear expectation management, and iterative review and feedback cycles of milestone criteria per established contracts or internal processes.
  • Ensure projects are set up for success in hitting quality targets through collaboration with 2K’s User Research, Market Research, Data Insights, and QA departments.
  • Coordinate with internal partnerships and release management teams to shepherd projects throughout their lifecycle across all modern gaming platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal partners, such as Marketing, QA, Product Management, Analytics, Localization, MoCap, and finance to ensure alignment and timely execution of milestone deliverables and product launches.
  • At times, directly lead a team of producers.
  • Travel, both domestic and international, may be required.

  • Multiple years of experience with industry standard production/project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to lead to and deliver on hard product deadlines with rapid development cycles while being the guardian over product quality.
