Key responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving and leading financial goals across NA.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve brand objectives across the US and Canada markets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the US and Canada marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of marketing plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, and operations to drive integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to optimize marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources based on ROI and strategic priorities.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials, promotional activities, and advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the probiotics market.
- Up to 20% travel for business meetings and customer visits.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required with preference in Business, Communications, or related discipline.
- 10+ years progressively responsible in marketing roles within CPG industry, ideally with a supplement, OTC, or nutrition/wellness company but not a must.
- Marketing experience in both US and Canada markets.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in managing and developing high performing teams.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market research to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written).
- Must be fluent in English; French a plus.
- Effective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Leadership and management (of employees, projects, and agencies).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company and able to adapt to change quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, understanding and dissecting complex business cases is required.
- Ability to successfully work in an entrepreneurial business environment.
- High level of initiative with the ability to self-motivate and effectively prioritize.
