Java Analyst / Java Programmer

Job Description

The incumbent analyses client or project needs to identify required information systems. It develops computer programs or applications.

It handles the preparation and implementation of development projects or IT patches. More specifically, the person will join a team working on the maintenance and evolution of in-house applications, which are accounting and finance.

Applications are based on the organization’s technological foundation, which follows the latest software engineering standards and best market development practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze client or project needs and identify appropriate technology solutions taking into account budget commitments and delivery deadlines.
• Analyze, design and document programs or applications. Develop or code programs or applications with automated testing.
• Ensure the smooth integration of technical components of solutions and resolve any problems.

Requirements And Qualifications

Desired skills

• Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (level sought: senior)
• Java 17
• Camunda
• Hibernate (PostgreSQL, AzureSQL)
• Spring (Boot, Batch, Web, etc.)
• Github
• Tomcat Application / Web Servers
• JUnit5, Mockito
• Pivotal Cloud Foundry (Tanzu, VMWare)
• Angular
• Knowledge of the accounting/finance area (asset)
• Experience in agile development projects
