Job Description

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC

The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre.

Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary

The Research Group of Dr. Suzanne Morin is seeking a motivated candidate to act as a research kinesiologist and coordinate the day-to-day operations of multiple clinical studies with a focus on bone and muscle health, osteoporosis and fracture prevention.

General Duties

  • Recruitment of research participants,
  • Scheduling of study visits as per protocol,
  • Conducting the informed consent process,
  • Creation of personalized exercise programs,
  • Conducting exercise sessions remotely,
  • Carrying out physical assessments,
  • Administering questionnaires,
  • Completing case report forms on REDCap,
  • Maintaining and updating study regulatory binder,
  • Participation in weekly meetings with the local research team, and the study sponsor (if applicable), to provide updates ,
  • Assisting with other research tasks as needed.

Education : Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study : Kinesiology or Exercise Science

Other education considered an asset for this position : CSEP Clinical Exercise Physiologist™ certification

Work Experience : Prior experience in Clinical Research is considered an asset
