As the Senior Trainer Civil Aero Engine Maintenance, you will perform the following duties :

  • Guiding of jet engine mechanic trainees professionally during the entire practical training process in a workshop environment
  • Ensure that practical and theoretical training content is instructed and documented according to the training plan, further develop training content and training concepts conceptually
  • Act as a Trainer and qualified Senior Engine Mechanic, including on-the-job training. Supervise and certify the work performed
  • Support training participants; identify professional and personal strengths / deficits; initiate measures for further development;

monitor implementation / results

  • Supervise practical assignments in the training and production areas of the global Mobile Engine Services network and accompany the training program
  • All other duties as assigned or required

You must fulfill the following requirements :

  • Completed technical vocational training
  • At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience as a Senior Engine Mechanic with above-average performance and corresponding authorizations
  • LEAP Authorization required at the start of the assignment, will be trained if necessary
  • Very good knowledge of aviation regulations, internal processes and interrelationships as well as operational regulations
  • Enjoy leading, guiding and motivating employees
  • Willingness to undergo job-related further training
  • Very good command of English language
  • High willingness to work at home and abroad, also for longer periods Western Canada (Alberta)
  • Training in Montreal and / or Germany
  • Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
