Bridor is a family business specializing in bakery and established in Canada since 1974.

As a production day laborer, you will work in a team, starting from the training. During you shift, you can have tasks vary during the day between production, packaging, palletizing.

Responsibilities : RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

Production :

  • Proceeds to the scarification of the loaves respecting the line cadences
  • Check the dimensions and weight of products and reject those that do not comply with specifications and quality standards
  • Alert and notify the operator quickly when a blocking occurs on production lines
  • Transfer of ingredients in mixers or dosing equipment (weight up to 25 kg)
  • Respects at all times the protocols and rules of hygiene and food safety

Packaging :

  • Participates in the sorting of breads before canning
  • Calculates and placing breads manually when required
  • Verifies the accuracy of production codes, expiry dates, cases used and quantities
  • Installs the rolls of plastic wrap and make adjustments when necessary.
  • Glues the boxes that peeled off and / or poorly glued
  • Helps clean up lines during planned production shutdowns

Palletization :

  • Check the labelling of the boxes
  • Controls the color, quality and condition of pallets for different customers
  • Verifies, according to customers, the number of cases per pallet
  • Fill out the control forms.
  • Transfers pallets to the freezer

Requirements : REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be comfortable with physical work
  • Be able to understand the guidelines in French
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ready to work in a cool environment (around 8 degrees Celsius)
  • Be able to keep up with production line rates
  • Have initiative and be able to identify needs on the floor and act accordingly
  • Be able to work in an environment with flour and other allergens
