Your mission? Conduct design-assist and business development activities with engineering firms consistent with business unit growth objectives for all Canam Group products.

To make it happen, you will develop a strong network of contacts with structural engineering firms in Western Canada. Since you don’t like routine, you will be glad to travel regularly to maintain and build relationships with engineering firms as well as attend and participate in construction industry conferences, seminars, trade shows and various networking events.

Because you’re a team player, you will be eager to collaborate with the sales and pre-construction team in parallel with all the Canam engineering and estimation teams (joist, deck, Murox, Hambro, structure, construction, etc.

in order to provide guidance and design-assist to engineering firms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
  • 3 years work experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace with experience using a CRM platform
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents
  • Ability to travel frequently across the territory
