We are a consumer-packaged goods company located in the heart of downtown Montreal, that manufactures, develops, designs and markets consumer products under license for a major American national brand.

We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and innovative marketer to drive our 360 marketing objectives. Our marketing department is charged with driving consumer value and energizing our brands, the candidate should be someone who has a finger on the pulse of everything marketing and translates focus on the consumer into business results.

The Marketing Project Manager will assist the Head of Marketing in developing highly effective marketing programs, including brand strategy, brand marketing planning, digital marketing and creative packaging and assets.

As the gatekeeper for several consumer brands, this person will guide the internal marketing team to deliver best in class development and execution of the marketing plan.

This person has an excellent creative eye, is passionate about retail, and understands what sets growing brands apart from the competition.

Responsibilities of the Role Branding : -Assists Head of Marketing in managing projects related to our portfolio of brands.

  • Creates presentations and reports upon request. -Works on go to market projects for digital and in store launches, as directed by the Head of Marketing.
  • Assists in writing creative briefs and project briefs in order to work with internal and external stakeholders.Product : -Collaborates closely with the Product marketing team to understand features and benefits of new product launches.
  • Oversees the project management for all creative request from Product team to Marketing team. -Manages brand books and assist in updating them.
  • Assists Head of Marketing in ensuring best in class end consumer experience. -Assists in managing call center KPI’s and running monthly reports.
  • Works with Product team to ensure all information for new products is available and published to internal stakeholders as defined by Head of Marketing.
  • Oversee projects both internally and externally, staying on top of deadlines to ensure completed in a timely manner. -Assign new projects to the right internal / external group.
  • Ensure we have the right software / process to manage the projects. -Social media, work on social calendar, briefing internal team on creative.
  • Provide support with 3rd party customer service team and assist Head of Marketing to manage KPI’s and monthly reporting.

REQUIREMENTS-Bilingual -Strong communication skills (written)-Experience working in consumer goods industry with exposure to big box retailers.

  • Understanding of branding, brand launches and activations -Understands the digital space and has assisted and been exposed to digital marketing.
  • Organized, can handle multiple projects. -Detail oriented, review projects, content & creative to ensure it follows specs.
  • Strong user in Microsoft office (Excel and PowerPoint)-Must have bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years experience. This is a permanent position.

Salary to reflect experience. Work week is Monday through Friday, from 8 : 30-5 : 00 pm. We offer summer and winter hours where we finish earlier on Fridays.
