REPORTING RELATIONSHIPTitle : Marketing SpecialistReports to : CEOLocation : Montreal, QCTHE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking an energetic and ambitious Marketing generalist to join our dynamic SaaS startup.

This is a new role, and the incumbent will be a key contributor, responsible for executing various marketing activities under the strategic guidance of the CEO.

This hands-on role offers a fantastic opportunity of growing and developing within the company.OVERALL RESPONSIBILITESExecute marketing initiatives and projects guided by the CEO & Executive Team.

Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and pipeline growth.Manage and grow the startup’s social media presence, primarily on LinkedIn.

Post blogs and collaborate with experts to generate content on multiple media.Participate in the roll-out of the go-to-market strategy by coordinating marketing campaigns, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with overall strategy.

Manage Google AdWords campaigns and other paid media.Identify and analyze campaign performance and metrics to appropriately adapt marketing content based on insights.

Research and identify the most appropriate industry events and tradeshows for the company to participate in, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and target audience.

Organize and manage the logistics of participating in these events, including booth setup, promotional materials, and on-site participation to effectively promote the company’s products and services.

Maintain and update the company website using WordPress.Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.

Utilize marketing tools and software, such as Adobe Suite, to create and manage marketing materials.Maintain a competitive edge by conducting competitive market research to identify pertinent industry trends.

THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate is an agile and ambitious marketing professional with a versatile range of marketing skills and experience.

With a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality, the successful candidate will be able to embrace and navigate the startup landscape.

A self-starter, the candidate is skillful in collaborating with cross-functional teams to create, execute, and manage all marketing activities.

Experience & Qualifications 5 years of professional marketing experience in the FinTech or related sector.Experience in developing and managing successful marketing programs (i.

e. digital marketing, social platforms, website management, trades shows and events, etc.)Strong project management and coordination skills.

Familiarity with Google AdWords and campaign management and Google Analytics.Experience in organizing and managing tradeshows and events.

Proficiency in using WordPress for website management.Ambitious, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing startup environment.

Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills in both French and English.Familiarity with ChatGPT and other Generative AI technologiesEducation Bachelor of Marketing, Business, or related field.
