Joining the Risk Management team at National Bank means contributing to the transformation and having a direct impact on clients.
As a Senior Manager, Technology and Cyber Risk Governance and Culture, you will define the risk management strategy and be responsible for the governance of technology and cybersecurity risk management.
This includes establishing roles and responsibilities, processes, and frameworks to facilitate technology and cybersecurity risk management within NBC.
Reporting to the Vice-Presidency, Technology and Cyber Risk Management, you will :
o Define and update the operational model for managing technology and cybersecurity risks, including first and second line of defence roles and responsibilities
o Define and roll out second line of defence frameworks for managing technology and cybersecurity risks
o Determine the appetite for technology and cybersecurity risk and submit it for executive-level approval
o Collaborate with your peers to document the business capabilities of the team under the Vice-President, Technology and Cyber Risk Management
o Establish processes to ensure that technology and cybersecurity risk management practices are followed within the Bank
o Establish and implement awareness plans and training programs to support the implementation of a technology and cybersecurity risk culture and compliance with operational model responsibilities
o Establish the regulatory inventory and communicate to stakeholders compliance requirements related to new frameworks or changes
o Establish the supervision strategy for the Bank’s subsidiaries with respect to technology and cyber risks
o Establish strategies to optimize communication and teamwork between all departments under the Vice-President, Technology and Cyber Risk Management, and the other stakeholders on the first, second, and third lines of defence
- University degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of technology risks (e.g., CISA, CRISC)
- Experience in IT risk and security governance in a large organization
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to summarize ideas and lead others
- Experience implementing a cyber and technology risk management framework at another financial institution, an asset
- Experience in personnel management (motivating and fostering creativity)
