About the roleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Operations Manager to spearhead the establishment and efficient operation of a state-of-the-art aircraft battery manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing operational strategies, overseeing day-to-day activities, and ensuring the seamless coordination of internal processes.

Primary responsibilitiesOperations set-up : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy efficient workflows and procedures for the new manufacturing production line.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.Operational Oversight & Team Leadership : Supervise daily manufacturing operations team to achieve production targets and quality standardsOptimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to manage raw materials and finished goods.Collaborate and coordinate with local and international teams to ensure a seamless supply chain for raw materials, internal logistics and customer deliveryContribute to production team recruiting, training, and managing a skilled production team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Provide leadership and guidance to ensure a motivated and high-performing team.
Quality : Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.Implement and ensure Quality System compliance in day-to-day activitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to achieve highest product quality.
Your ProfileBachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in operations management, quality and logistics within the aerospace manufacturing sector leading manufacturing teams with related regulations and safety protocolsDemonstrated success in establishing and optimizing manufacturing facilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills.Familiarity with relevant manufacturing standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Excellent analytical, data-driven and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
