Position : Business Development Representative - Entry Level Location : Dorval Salary : $50K to $60K base + bonus, incentives + RRSP and international travel! We are seeking a motivated and talented Business Development Representative! The Business Development Representative is to develop B2B manufacturing clients for packaging in industries such as pharmaceutical, agricultural, horticultural, food ingredient manufacturing, mining and chemical industries for industrial packaging according to quality and safety standards and specifications.
This role is to develop and grow the Quebec territory, develop new markets and clients in order to increase sales profitability.
The focus of this role will be the Quebec region and will grow to Canada-wide and the US over time. Responsibilities : - Develop base portfolio of customers - For existing customers, increase sales volume by providing professional sales support while identifying new opportunities and introducing new products - Develop and execute a call plan, perform business reviews, maintain a full sales pipeline, monthly erosion analysis, price negotiation, quarterly customer stratification maintenance, new product introduction and execution of regional and national programs - Identify, secure and develop new customers - Develop target accounts and growth strategies, specific needs analysis and new product introductions - Support and execute directed marketing and operational initiatives - Support selected vendor programs, make calls with vendors, follow corporate direction on vendor contact and cost negotiation, support marketing initiatives and support on-line ordering - Scan and email quotes, build quotes, credit, inventory, pricing file maintenance, reporting to Sales Management, source products, customer database management, daily sales report analysis and order management - Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and service providers - Provide input on best practices, policies and procedures with respect to the sales department and other service providers - Be responsible for maintaining customer sales activity in CRM tool (Salesforce.
com) or other tools as mandated by the organization - Follow internal procedures and make recommendations for improvement - International travel will be involved for any client accounts with potential and to further develop the business offerings Qualifications : - At least 1-3 years of business development sales experience - Entrepreneurial - ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision - Ability to work collaboratively with a large number of internal and external customers, showing flexibility in meeting their individual needs - Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills - Strong organizational and planning skills - Resilient with a strong ambition to succeed, inquisitive and ability to take initiative to get tasks completed - Proficiency Microsoft Office suite and experience with SalesForce (or other CRM tools) an asset - Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license is required - Ability to travel Please send your resume in Word format to Clare White at
