Together, we’re aiming to take a giant leap towards our goal of becoming a digitally enabled relationship bank.We’re in search for a Lead Salesforce Developer to help us break new technology ground.
You’ll be joining a diverse and inclusive agile lab delivering solutions on Salesforce’s Financial Services Cloud platform.
We’re pulling all the stops and employing the latest in technology, scaled agile practices, as well as DevOps / SRE to help bring to life the CRM Advisor Platform of the future here at RBC. What will you do?
You will be responsible of the design, development and deployment on the Salesforce Financial Service Cloud to drive business value.
As a lead developer within the technical team, you will be responsible of coaching and reviewing the work of more junior resources.
You will work closely with the architects and business partners to implement CRM capabilities on the Salesforce platform.
Assist scrum teams in gathering requirements / user stories to develop / enhance functionality on the Salesforce platform, including the technical analysis and estimates.
Assist in DevOps development, best practices and process efficiencies.
Stay current on Salesforce’s development platform and implement Salesforce development best practices, following the RBC internal standards and guidelines.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
10+ years of web-based application design / developer experience or full-stack development including 5+ years in Salesforce configuration, customization, development, deployment using Salesforce.com
Hands-on experience with the Lightning platform including APEX coding, Aura framework, Lightning Web Components, API’s, Platform Events and Salesforce Data Model.
Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and its architecture and product suite including Sales & Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud
Experience integrating Salesforce applications with 3rd party systems using APIs, UI frameworks and event based integration patterns.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps best practices
Salesforce Certifications : Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I (PDI) & Platform Developer II (PDII)
Experience implementing CRM solutions in the financial sector
Engaged in the broader Salesforce Community
Experience with Datastage, OCP technologies and related CI / CD tools
