Reporting to the Marketing Research Manager, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing and participating in various research projects for the residential and commercial markets (voice of the customer, market, products, offers, customer satisfaction, loyalty, image, etc.

He / she will link the various sources of information and identify strategic trends and insights for Cogeco. As a strategic position within the organization, the incumbent will be responsible for communicating results to all levels of the company, up to and including senior management.

The Senior Marketing Research Analyst is part of the Data and Research team, whose mandate is to contribute to the democratization of the use of internal and external data for strategic purposes within Cogeco by providing rapid access to business information and knowledge.


Plan, implement and manage research projects for the Residential and Commercial markets (from needs gathering to results presentation, including questionnaire writing) using various methods to obtain information (Voice of the Customer, Telephone, Web Panel, Focus Groups, External Sources).

Analyze and interpret results, highlighting strategic implications for Cogeco.

Prepare and present reports, ensuring that findings are communicated quickly, simply, succinctly and always focused on strategic impact for Cogeco.

Present research findings to a variety of audiences, up to and including senior management (executive level).

Collaborate directly with external suppliers

Maintain internal contact with colleagues and manage relationships with internal clients : organize meetings, obtain necessary information, communicate research project results to various stakeholders and provide strategic support.

Maintain an up-to-date marketing research directory.



Bachelor's degree in Marketing Research, Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience


6 to 9 years experience in Marketing Research.

Experience in the telecommunications sector is an asset.

Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research.


Ability to communicate research methods and findings simply and effectively to different audiences.

Strong ability to analyze and synthesize data

Ability to carry out a research project from the identification of needs to the presentation of results.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.

Thoroughness and attention to detail.

Autonomy and initiative.

Teamwork and ability to work closely with team members.

MS Word, PPT, Excel and statistical software (SAS, SPSS).

Experience with Tableau (an asset)

Knowledge of Google tools.

Very good knowledge of French and English, both oral and written. The position requires close collaboration with various internal and / or external partners in Ontario and the United States.
