Sommaire du poste:
Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Project Manager oversees all aspects of our interactive projects using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget and on spec. To this end, the Project Manager performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, coordinating all resources and stakeholders; setting deadlines; assigning responsibilities; and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project.
Exigences / compétences recherchées:
•Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and French.
•Minimum of 3-5 years of directly related work experience in project management, idealy within an ad agency.
•Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience.
•Experience in creating Online projects from concept to Launch, such as complex websites to banner advertising
•Ability to prioritize.
•Ability to work collaboratively as a Team.
•Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
•Comfortable with a variety of software and programs, such as: MS Project, Outlook , Visio, Excel.
•Excellent communication skills in dealing with all organizational levels.
•Ideally, a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, though relevant work experience will be considered.
•Some Travel or overtime may be required.

Project Management
Planning
•Lead strategic planning for Client web presence and digital initiatives.
•Plan certain Large Scale and more intricate projects in order to accomplish its goals within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
•Assist the Senior Project Coordinators in their planning of medium to smaller scale projects in order to accomplish goals within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
•Oversee that all scheduled tasks, deadlines and milestones for all stakeholders and resources are being met.
•Assist the Senior Project Coordinators in identifying schedule uncertainties and risks for both client and BAM
•Assist the Senior Project Coordinators in developing schedule contingency plans.
Day-to-Day Management
•Ensure that Team members are managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects, for multiple Clients.
•Efficiently and competently manage problems — when things go off plan (due to scope-creep, changed requirements, missed deadlines etc.) bring them back on plan or create a new plan with the assistance of key-stakeholders.
•Be aware of the requirements of the project and ensure that work proceeds on-spec.
•Ensure that deliverables prepared by all Project team members are properly being evaluated and tested in order to ensure that finished product meets requirements, standards and maintains the highest level of quality, before they are sent to Clients or Third Parties for their own internal testing or review.
•Be aware of and act on any issues escalated by Direct Reports.
•Effectively communicates relevant project/practice information to superiors and peers in other departments.
Administration & Reporting
•Ensure completion of Timesheets, Vacation, Absence request and expense reports.
•Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely reports on all aspects of a project, Brand or initiative.
•Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
•Present project post mortems and help create recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Process
•Create, maintain & constantly look to improve production processes
Budget & Contracts
•Depending on the size of the project, work directly with Senior Project Coordinators to deliver accurate and detailed Proposals, SOWs and Yearly Interactive Budgets.
•Review and Deliver in a timely manner, all Month End budgets, ensuring that all Invoicing can take place efficiently.
•Assures necessary documents are completed and signed or approvals have been received in writing prior to commencement of work.
•Continuously work with the Production Team Leads to explore and put into play strategies to reduce project costs.
•Work to minimizes BAM’s exposure and risk on all projects.
•Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding delayed/tardy SOW approval and other missing documentation pertaining to Budget that may be impeding on production and cause deliverables and deadline to be missed.
Leadership
•Challenge Direct Reports to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor, as well as clarifying roles and responsibilities.
•Manage the development of team by ensuring, when possible, that project tasks are in line with each Team members’ career interests.

Team Management

•Assist Directors of Client Services in identifying need to hire more resources, highlighting specific assets/specialties/experience to suit this need.
•Be responsible for the performance management of the Client Services Team members.
•Conduct performance evaluations of all Direct Reports
•Counsel and guide Direct Reports through the evaluation process of their Team Members
•Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
•Escalate to Director of Client Services and carry out Termination should company/departmental guidelines and criteria not be met by individual Team members.
•Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
•Handles difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual.
Client Management
•Ensure that new clients are properly introduced to BAM Strategy and its services.
•Build a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives in order to anticipate needs or potential opportunities for their Brand’s growth in the digital space.
•Schedule and attend meetings with clients as needed
•Explain the technology in proposed solutions to Clients and others (when applicable)
•Understand the implications of different technical choices and guide clients to the best solution for their situation.
•Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered.
•Provide more senior level resolution to client issues.
•Provide soft-sales (up-selling opportunities) or articulate these opportunities to the appropriate channels.
•Grows long-term relationships with clients and capitalizes on equity and partnership opportunities.
General
•Keep current on new technologies as they relate to web site and web application development
•Custom online applications (reporting tools, AW Stats, Google Analytics, etc)
•Shared Quality Assurance duties
