Le titulaire du poste sera responsable de tous les procédés ayant trait à la mise à jour des données et des prix du catalogue.
Pour réussir dans ce poste, le candidat devra faire preuve d’une bonne compréhension des diverses facettes du Web, de créativité et d’une capacité à trouver rapidement des solutions à des problèmes techniques.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Web Developer will be responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the organization’s websites and online services. This includes www.brandsource.ca, www.megagroup.ca, retailer’s websites and other back office websites related to the corporation’s activities. The Web Developer will be responsible to elaborate technical solution to problems reported or enhancements requested by members of the organization. This person will play a key role in the development of brandsource.ca phase II. As well, the Web Developer will be deeply involved in the creation of retailer’s websites on the BrandSource platform.
The Web Developer will also play a role in the product catalog maintenance process for www.brandsource.ca. The developer will have to work closely with data suppliers and internal merchandisers to ensure product catalog accuracy. The developer will be responsible for all processes involved in updating the catalog from a data and pricing perspective.
A good understanding of the web from different perspectives, creativity and the ability to quickly find solutions to technical challenge will definitely be assets to succeed in this position.

FORMATION, APTITUDES ET EXPÉRIENCE
2 à 3 ans d’expérience en développement Web
Diplôme en informatiques
Visual Studio, C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, XHTML, Javascript
PHP, Magento ou connaissance d’une autre plateforme libre
Expérience avec SharePoint et MS Commerce Server
Web analytique (Google analytique)
Connaissance du concept d’hébergement, DNS, nom de domaine, hébergement de courriels
Connaissance de Photoshop (atout)
Java (certains programmes de catalogues sont déjà codés en Java) (atout)
Connaissance générale du marketing Web (SEM, SEO, PPC, courriel)
Capacité à travailler en équipe
Excellentes aptitudes pour l’analyse et la résolution de problèmes

Development of retailers website on the BrandSource platform (SharePoint, .NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript)

Support the development of www.brandsource.ca phase II (PHP, Magento or similar open source platform)
Maintenance of the corporation extranet (SharePoint, .NET, HTML)
Maintenance of the corporate website (HTML, CSS)
May have to answer clients, consumers and partners questions regarding Mega Group online activities
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
2-3 years of web development experience
Information Technology related degree or diploma
Visual Studio, C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, XHTML, Javascript
PHP, Magento or other open source platform knowledge
Experience with SharePoint and MS Commerce Server
Web analytics (Google analytics)
Familiar with hosting related concept, DNS, domain name, email hosting
Knowledge of Photoshop (Optional)
Java (Some of the catalog programs are already coded in Java) (Nice to have)
General web marketing knowledge (SEM, SEO, PPC, Email)
Team player
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills
