Zango, Inc. is an online media company providing consumers free access to a large catalog of free, sought-after online videos, games, music, tools and utilities. Much like television, this content is funded by advertising and is therefore free to the consumer.
Zango employs more than 200 people globally and in addition to its headquarters in Seattle, has offices in New York, Las Vegas, Montreal, London and Tel Aviv.
Sommaire du poste:
This position reports directly to the Director of Business Development and is based out of the Montreal office. This position is responsible for building and maintaining quality distribution partnerships for Zango, through ad networks and search engines.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a strong, effective distribution base that gains value consistently.
• Work closely with the company marketing and development departments to ensure timely and accurate flow of information and action items between the company and its distribution partner.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to Director of Business Development.
Exigences / compétences recherchées:
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-2 years in an online media buying role.
• BA preferred.
• Strong outbound sales skills required (phone, email, instant messenger, presentation).
• Comfortable managing a business based on data, tracking results, adjusting as necessary, and reporting spending levels.
• Good understanding of online advertising industry, content industries, trends, and media.
• Strong networking skills, with the ability to develop and maintain good rapport with partners and developers.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel and PPT. HTML knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and prioritize effectively
• Must be resourceful and a self-starter with excellent French/English oral and written communication skills (German, Spanish is a plus).
• Webmaster experience is a plus
