Based in Montreal, Tribal Nova produces and operates virtual world type portals for children that provide gaming, videos and comic books. The company boasts a number of important partnerships with prominent children broadcasters, portals and TV producers in Canada, Europe and the U.S. Our games are played by millions of kids and feature many of the most popular TV characters loved by children around the world.

Our organization finds itself in an accelerated growth mode and requires the talent of a professional self-starter with a proven track record to continue this trend while at the same time solidifying its business foundation.

Sommaire du poste:

THE POSITION
Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Sales, the Manager of Business Development will establish strategies and tactics aimed at securing advantageous placement of Tribal Nova’s assets in online distribution channels as well as sourcing and negotiating new content for the company’s virtual worlds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Establish distribution and co-marketing agreements with major and minor casual gaming portals, TV broadcasters and affiliate partners aimed at significantly increasing traffic to Tribal Nova’s portals on the North American market
•Identify new sources of prospective customers for Tribal Nova’s various children’s virtual worlds and entertainment environment.
•Meet qualified traffic volume objectives
•Manage current partner relationships
•Contribute to TN’s overall commercial strategy

Exigences / compétences recherchées:

•5 to 10 years experience as a professional of business development with experience selling marketing services. Experience in online business environment is a definite asset.
•University degree
•Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
•Proven excellent negotiating skills able to influence, open doors and close deals
•Proven ability in reviewing and negotiating agreements
•Ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
•Passion for online business and social networking
•Knowledge of broadcast, gaming or e-business an asset

LOCATION
The territory to be covered includes the United States and Canada.
